Decision to come on rural replacement
A bid to build a new property at a rural site near Lowick will be decided at today's North Northumberland Local Area Council meeting.
Dr and Mrs Dean want to demolish the existing single-storey dwelling at 1 Laverock Law and replace it with a new two-storey home with a single-storey utility link, greenhouse and garage, which is recommended for approval.
It has sparked an objection from Lowick Parish Council on several grounds, including that members were dismayed to see that the proposed design did not conform to local designs and the design is not in keeping with the neighbouring properties.
