Pupils at Ford’s Hugh Joicey Church of England First School saw in spring with a traditional maypole dance last Friday. The annual celebration took place at Lady Waterford Hall following the crowning of the village’s May Queen.

Madeline Humphreys was crowned May Queen by Joan Firth, with Portia Poppitt the Crown Bearer.
