LINE dancers from around north Northumberland gathered to dance and raise money for a local lifeboat station.
On Saturday, Seahouses Linedancers held a charity event at Seahouses Social Club in aid of Seahouses RNLI Lifeboat Station.
In the afternoon, choreographer Lizzy Clarke led the dancers while Natalie Diamond took over in the evening.
The theme for the popular and well-attended event was Life on the Ocean Waves so there were plenty of dancers in nautical costumes.
Seahouses lifeboat operations manager Ian Clayton said: “We are absolutely delighted to learn that we were to be the line dancers’ chosen charity for the event and we are hoping the donation may help us replace our boathouse weather station, which is no longer functional.
“We have a new website which will be going live very shortly, and we are exploring the feasibility of incorporating local live weather information for the benefit of locals and visitors.
“Our current website has proved very popular, and we hope the new one will be even more so.
“Everyone who attended the line dancers’event seemed to have a really great day and I can only express our extreme gratitude for their most welcome support.”
