Thieves target Alnwick pub

It happened at the Oddfellows Arms, on Narrowgate, between 9pm on Friday and 11.30am yesterday.

The offenders forced their way in from the rear and broke into the juke box, pool table and gaming machine, causing damage and stealing cash from them before making off unseen.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference number 018358J/17, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

The Oddfellows shut its doors at the start of the month.
