Shot cat sparks police appeal

POLICE have appealed for information after a cat was shot twice in Seahouses.

The incident was reported to police on Wednesday, March 30, after the cat’s owner took the animal to the vet as it was suffering from discomfort on its back.

The vet found an abscess near the base of the cat’s tail and removed a pellet from there and another from one of the cat’s legs. It is not known when the animal was shot.
