Consultation starts again

CONSULTATION on plans for a controversial 15,000-person music festival on the north Northumberland coast has reopened.

In November, the Gazette reported that a licencing application for the four-day festival at Springhill Farm near Seahouses next summer had been submitted to the county council.

But at a specially convened meeting of North Sunderland Parish Council, the county council’s public safety manager said ‘errors’ in the advertisement had halted the consultation.

Now it has reopened and will run until January 15, 2012.
