A north Northumberland fire station is holding an open day to raise funds for two life-saving charities.
Wooler Fire Station is hosting the event on Saturday, June 1, to raise money for The Firefighters Charity and the Northumberland Mountain Rescue Team.
Activities will include a demonstration from the Young Firefighters, a ladder demonstration, water targets, stalls and other fun and games.
The mountain rescue team will also be there on the day.
The event starts at 10am at the station on South Road and all of the money raised goes to the two causes.
It is being organised by Jack McWilliams, who runs The Chocolate Box in the village with his father Glen and is a retained firefighter at Wooler and a member of Blue Watch at Berwick Fire Station.
Last year, both stations ran open evenings to try to boost recruitment of retained firefighters.
