Best-selling author Max Adams will be making a special appearance at The Alnwick Garden on Tuesday as part of Hexham Book Festival.
Max will be talking about his new book The Wisdom of Trees – with the Garden chosen as the perfect venue for the event.
In his ‘beautiful and eclectic’ sequence of reflections, investigations, stories and tree profiles, Max explores the extraordinary biology of trees.
Max is also the author of Admiral Collingwood, The Prometheans and last year’s bestseller The King of the North.
The event will be followed by tea and cake and a chance to have books signed by Max in The Pavilion at the Garden, after the talk, which runs from 3pm to 5pm.
Tickets are £8 adults, £6 concessions, available at the Garden but Garden admission is not required.
Hexham Book Festival has teamed up with the Garden for a series of literary lunches throughout the autumn.
