Police are appealing for information after three cars were damaged in Alnwick at the weekend.
Between 11.20pm and 11.40pm on Friday, May 24, two Ford Transit vans and a Volvo car parked in Prudhoe Street, near to the police station, had their tyres punctured by vandals.
Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Truscott said: “The damage amounts to thousands of pounds and has caused concerns in the local community. The damage occurred in a relatively small timescale and there may have been people passing the area around the time it happened. Mindless damage like this will not be tolerated and anyone with any information that could help us with our enquiries is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
Enquiries including checking CCTV and speaking to residents are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191.
