Call goes out for new RNLI volunteers

Lifeboat charity the RNLI is on the hunt for volunteers for several of its north Northumberland branches.

The Amble, Bamburgh and Alnwick branches, like many others across the UK, raise funds for the RNLI by holding a range of events each year.

These are organised by a group of voluntary people who take pleasure in helping save lives at sea while at the same time meeting new people and having lots of fun along the way. Everybody is welcome to get involved.

They are currently looking for volunteers in the following roles: Volunteer branch secretary, Amble; volunteer assistant speaker co-ordinator, Alnwick; museum front of house volunteer, Bamburgh; volunteer education volunteer, Bamburgh.

Anyone who wants more information, can call Heather on 07500 608222 or find out more and apply for each of these roles at www.rnli.org.uk/volroles
