At their weekly Primestock Sale, John Swan Limited had forward and sold 1,164 lambs, nine hoggs and young sheep and 172 ewes.

Large numbers curtailed by the elements, weather beating vendors who braved them were rewarded with unprecedented returns again a full ring of buyers were in operation. Average 204.3p.
