A large-scale recruitment campaign for nurses launches in Northumberland and across the North East on Monday.

Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (NTW) – one of the country’s largest mental-health and disability care providers – is looking for staff to work from sites in Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland.

The Trust is recruiting for a wide range of qualified nursing posts across a number of specialisms and fields of practice, including children, older people, learning disabilities, neurological and crisis care.

Nurse director Anne Moore said: “We are hoping to recruit a large number of qualified nurses to join our teams across the North East of England. As well as local services, we also provide a number of regional and national specialist services and the wide range of nursing posts we are recruiting for reflects this. If you already live in the North East and are thinking of applying, we will always try to find a job which is most convenient for you, because we know how important it is to get a good balance between your home and working life.”

The campaign launches on Monday. For more information or to apply for a job, visit the NHS jobs website or search NTW jobs.
