An award-winning manufacturer has appointed a new operations manager across all three of its UK processing plants.
Tony Robinson has taken on the role of plant operations manager for BEDMAX, promoted from plant manager for the company’s Belford production plant.
He will assist the plant managers at the company’s sites in Nottinghamshire and Hampshire, ensuring that BEDMAX continues to maintain its position as UK market leader in the production of bespoke equine shavings.
He will also be responsible for overseeing the production of HOTMAX fuel logs, which are also made in each of the three production plants.
Tony, 50, lives in Alnwick with his wife and son, Adam, who is currently undertaking an apprenticeship programme with BEDMAX.
Tony said: “I am delighted to have been promoted and I am looking forward to the new challenge of supporting the other production plants.
“I have very much enjoyed working for a company that has always been at the forefront of its industry, and my main aim in this new position is to ensure that BEDMAX continues to produce the highest quality horse beddings on the market.”
BEDMAX has held a Royal Warrant from the Queen since 2008 and won the BETA UKTI Award for outstanding export achievement.
