Amble Dental Practice has retained its accreditation with the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to realising the potential of its people.

The centre was taken over by Duncan Thomas 20 years ago as a single-handed surgery, relocating to 45 High Street in Amble in 2008. The practice now employs 25 staff.

Its focus is on preventative dentistry and development, utilising the team to its full potential.

Commenting on the award, managing director Mr Thomas, said: “I am thrilled we have achieved Investors in People accreditation again. We have an amazing team of people and we work hard every day to provide the best service to our patients.”

Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.
