A teenage entrepreneur from Alnwick, whose online cufflinks business attracted the attention of top businessman Theo Paphitis, has launched another website.
Last July, the Gazette reported that Findlay Downing, a former Duchess’s Community High School pupil, had set up The Little Cufflink Shop online in December 2012.
And last June, his fledgling firm received another boost – he was a winner in the online competition Small Business Sunday, shortened to the hashtag #SBS on Twitter, which was created by Theo Paphitis in October 2010. Theo is chairman of Ryman Stationery plus Boux Avenue lingerie and Robert Dyas and one of the former mentors on the BBC television show Dragon’s Den.
Now, Findlay has launched a second online shop – The Little Bracelet Shop. “It works in exactly the same way as the cufflink shop with a similar website design and order system. The only difference is it’s bracelets rather than cufflinks.”
