Bruce launches new business to serve locally-based trades

Bruce Redhead.

An Alnwick man who was made redundant from his previous job after more than two decades of service has launched a new business.

Bruce Redhead, 52, is behind Keep it Klean; a washroom and catering supplier delivering or serving the hospitality, catering and automotive trades.

The father-of-two launched the business a few months ago after being made redundant from Alnwick Cranes in October.

Bruce’s new venture has been going well so far.

“My wife said that redundancy offered an opportunity and things are looking good,” he said.

“Our aim is to offer value for money, with good-quality products delivered to people’s door. We are a small enough company to be able to assist each customer and order individually.”

The Alnwick-based business delivers up to a 25-mile radius of the town. Bruce used local companies to help him launch the business, including purchasing clothing, producing company cards and spraying his eye-catching yellow van.

He has thanked the people who have helped him so far, whether it has been for storage, advice and encouragement and his clients.

He has also thanked his customers from Alnwick Cranes for their support over the years.

The company is on hand to take orders or answer any questions on 07835 513454, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to noon on Saturdays.
