Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly Primestock Sale of cattle and sheep.

Sold 59 clean cattle, 57 Beef Cows, 1305 and 515 Ewes. Bullocks (18) averaged 213.2p per kg and sold to 236p (-0.9p on the week). Heifers (41) averaged 214.6p per kg and sold to 246p (+2.3p on the week). 57 Beef type Cows averaged 124.7p per kg and sold to 167p (+4.2p on the week). 1305 Hoggs averaged 174.14p per kg (+2.64p on the week) £76 per head and sold to £96, top price 199p per kg for Beltex. SQQ 179p per kg. 515 Ewes averaged £62.23, and sold to £116 for Pure Texel. Heavy ewes averaged £74.04, Light ewes sold to £70 for Cheviot and averaged £51.44.
