Company launches new body wash

After years of research, a Felton-based company has formulated a natural non-sensitising body wash.

Skin Salveation’s new organic product is free from parabens, mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, propylene glycol and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).

John Davidson, from the firm, said: “Launched earlier this month, the body wash is simply flying off the shelf.

“It will probably account for a lift of 15 per cent on total sales alone if the sales continue at this level.

“Our SLS-free organic body wash eliminates your body’s absorption of SLS and other undesirable ingredients, including paraben preservatives and synthetic fragrances.

“It is formulated using pure natural ingredients to nourish and care for sensitive skin while you shower, and works equally well on hair.

“It includes pure essential oils which have therapeutic properties and are naturally moisturising assisting in the treatment of eczema and psoriasis.”

The new body wash adds to the company’s expanding portfolio of products.

Earlier this year, it was honoured with a Scoot Headline Award, s part of a national campaign to recognise and reward the success and achievements of British businesses.
