A Tyneside referral group – including members from Northumberland – has generated £1million of business in the last 12 months.

The Tyne Bridge Chapter of BNI (Business Network International) meets over breakfast every Wednesday at the Valley Farm on Gateshead’s Team Valley to help business among the group. By passing referrals and attracting new business, the group has gone from strength to strength and in the last two years has grown from 18 members to more than 30.

A huge variety of trades, skills and professions are represented and some members come from the likes of Amble and Ulgham. Membership coordinator Jayne Hart said: “We build relationships and pass on quality business referrals which have led to more than £1million worth of business for the group – including those from north Northumberland – in the last 12 months.”

The group is keen to welcome visitors. For more details, call 07944 772130.
