Burglars steal items worth £17,500 in Northumberland break-in

Police investigating a high-value burglary in a north Northumberland town have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify.

Between 1am and 2am, on Tuesday, December 30, the Castle Blinds premises in North Road, Berwick was broken into.

Around £17,500 worth of items were stolen from the shop including a gold Oyster Rolex watch with a black dial, diamond hour markers, fluted bezel and a jubilee bracelet. Thirty boxes of fishing tackle and flies and more than 15 fishing rods and fishing reels were also taken.

Inquiries are ongoing into the burglary and officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify and speak to in connection with the break-in.
