Body found in search for missing Amble woman
Police officers searching for missing Amble woman Rosemarie O'Keefe found a woman's body in the Amble area in the early hours of this morning.
Although not yet formally identified, officers believe it may be Rosemarie. A Northumbria Police statement added: 'Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.'
The 88-year-old, who has dementia, was last seen around 3:30pm yesterday, walking on the A1068 from Amble towards Warkworth.
