Alnwick’s Bailiffgate Museum has launched its new arts and crafts programme.
On September 15, there will be an art class for both beginners and more experienced painters.
A rag rugging weekend takes place on September 29 and September 30. The first day will be for beginners while more experienced rag ruggers can take part on the second day to work on a project.
On October 20, the museum will host a weaving workshop, where both beginners and more experienced weavers can produce a wall hanging to take home.
A felt-making day takes place on November 3 where people can use fleece/fibre to produce a wall hanging or another item.
A further rag rugging workshop is being held on November 17 while the museum hosts a patchwork class for experienced stitchers and beginners on November 24.
There will be a trip to Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show on November 22. Entry fee is around £12, plus coach fare, and a £5 deposit needs to be paid.
Basic materials, equipment and refreshments will be provided at the courses. Booking is essential for all and a £10 deposit is payable with each booking.
