ARTIST Larraine Duquemin has set up her own business selling unique pieces of artwork she created while taking a degree course.
Larraine, from Amble, created pieces for the project element of the Foundation Degree in Applied Arts at Northumberland College.
Her Skies At Birth light box relates to the theme of mapping and the relationship between the individual and the universe.
She said: “It illuminates the constellations at the precise time of each individual’s birth, using the ancient device of the planesphere.”
Her Traces family portrait uses the fingerprint to explore physical and emotional identity and the unique marks are captured in glass.
Larraine is exhibiting her work at the Amble Development Trust in Queen Street.
