Appeal over assault in Northumberland

A man received treatment for a fractured jaw after he was assaulted in a town centre.

The 27-year-old was approached by an offender in Morpeth, who attacked him before making off, at 1am on Sunday, February 7. The victim had to be taken to hospital as a result.

Inquiries into the incident, which took place in Bridge Street, are on-going.
