Antiques experts in village

Two experts from the Antique Roadshow are coming to north Northumberland next week to value people’s items.

Steven Moore and Susan Rumfitt will be at Lady Waterford Hall, in Ford, next Friday, November 21.

Steven’s passion for collecting started as a child. By the age of 16, he had curated his first exhibition at Newcastle’s Laing Art Gallery and he had written his first book by 21.After studying to be an archaeologist, he moved into antique dealing and writing; his speciality is ceramics.

Susan studied decorative arts and then moved on to specialise in jewellery, opening her own gallery in Harrogate.

The evening starts at 7pm and costs £12 to included a welcome drink and canapés.
