A workshop for people interested in writing their own life story will take place at Alnwick Library on Saturday September 13.
Entitled Writing Our Lives, the session starts at 9.15 am and lasts for three-and-a-half hours.
The workshop will provide some ideas on how to set about writing an autobiography or memoir, whether for your own enjoyment, publication or to be passed on to future generations.
Tutor Pru Heathcote will also be encouraging participants to use personal memories as inspiration for poetry and fiction, and asks that everyone brings to the session a photograph of themselves as a child or teenager.
The workshop is being organised by the Women’s Health Advice Centre in Ashington, but is open to men and women.
Refreshments will be provided.
