This year's Alnwick Spring Show is in full swing and people are being encouraged to come along to see daffodils, tulips and flowers galore.

The event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is taking place today at the town's Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre. It started at 11am and runs until 5pm.

There is the usual range of classes for visitors to see, including floral art, cookery, sugarcraft, daffodil, tulip and spring-flower, among others. To mark the anniversary milestone, there is also a few special classes, including an anniversary daffodil section.

Admission to the show is £2, free to exhibitors and children under 16.
