Alnwick business is toasting silver success

An Alnwick business has been honoured at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.

Propology Boutique Properties won Silver in the Best Customer Service category at The Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2015. The event was held in association with The Sunday Times and The Times.

The ceremony, in London, was staged earlier this month and the winners were presented with their prizes by ex-international rugby player and Matt Dawson MBE, with renowned journalist, author and newsreader Penny Smith acting as compere.

Propology’s managing director, Cherylle Millard-Dawe, was delighted to be recognised. She said: “Having won Gold in the Newcomer category last year, we were keen to be placed in this highly-competitive national category for 2015. More than 1,000 estate agents competed for this coveted award and we were up against intense competition.

“Customer service is at the heart of everything we do so being recognised in this way is not only relevant, but also extremely rewarding. Our mystery shopping results were described as fantastic and we are thrilled to bring this award back to Northumberland, making our agency in Alnwick a multi-award-winning business.

Award winners endured a rigorous and thorough judging process by a panel of 20 industry experts who assessed initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included rigorous telephone interviews and independent mystery shopping exercises.

The judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, and Gerry Fitzjohn, VP of The Property Ombudsman, acted as arbiter. The panel of 20 industry experts said that Propology offers ‘an amazing level of service’ and the lifestyle consultancy side of the business is ‘above and beyond the usual agency service’.
