An Alnwick salon has discovered who it will be up against in the finals of the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2016.

As reported in last week’s Gazette, Enhance Beauty Rooms, on Bondgate Without, is in contention to win the prize for North East Beauty Salon of the Year.

Now, manager Jane Williams and colleague Courtney Dunn, have found out who the other finalists in the category are, after it was revealed this afternoon.

Also in the mix for the North East title is Miss Independent, Middlesbrough; Sirens Hair and Beauty Salon, in Durham; Beautonic Beauty Salon and Spa, Newcastle; and Bel Viso, Stockton-on-Tees.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Sunday, March 20.

At the 2013 awards, Jane was named Fake Bake Therapist of the Year, and then, in 2014, Enhance took the title of the North East Beauty Salon of the Year. The salon was then in the running to defend the title in 2015. The Enhance girls will certainly be hoping that they can reclaim the crown come March 20.
