An annual fancy dress walk by the RAF raised more than £350 for charity.

The RAF Boulmer Engineers Walk from Bamburgh to Boulmer takes place every year with officers taking the chance to dress in any manner of weird and wonderful costumes.

The walkers stopped halfway into their 17-mile trek at Dunstanburgh Golf Club to help increase the money raised to £384 for Sue Ryder.

Seahouses Sue Ryder store manager Valerie Dobson thanked all involved for helping raise vital money for the hospice charity.

Sue Ryder provides care to people living with complex long-term and end-of-life conditions, through homecare, hospice and residential care services.

Assistant manager Bethany Powell said: “It was a great day and the weather was perfect, it’s a great event. Our thanks to all who donated.”
