THREE wind farms planned for north Northumberland are set to be determined later this month.
At the time of going to press, Berwick Borough Council is on schedule to consider applications for Moorsyde, Toft Hill and Barmoor, all proposed for locations south west of Berwick, on Thursday, March 27.

A council spokeswoman said on Tuesday: "Some of the reports are still to be finalised and it could mean that not all three will be considered. We will be able to confirm which applications will go before the committee by the end of tomorrow (Wednesday)."

The applications comprise of nine wind turbines for Barmoor and seven each at Moorsyde and Toft Hill.
