NEW information boards to tell visitors about the charms of a Northumberland seaside village have finally been unveiled.
The interpretive panels at Craster give information about the Arnold Reserve and the Northumberland Wildlife Trust, as well as the history of the village and its natural environment.

They were officially opened at a small ceremony attended by residents and councillors.

Michael Gibbs, of Craster Development Trust, said: "The information boards that were installed in 2002 at the Craster car park end of the Arnold Reserve had to be replaced due to weather and vandalism.

"The Craster Community Development Trust, in partnership with Craster Parish Council and the Northumberland Wildlife Trust have now done this with funding from Alnwick District Council's Rural Business Initiative and the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Small Grants Scheme."

The boards were created by Infinite Design Consultants and installed by VM Dundas.
