TOO FAST: Speeding is still an issue in Swarland and Newton on the Moor.
PC Steve Cresswell said he is still trying to get a high visibility presence in Swarland.
He is also looking into road markings being put in the village warning drivers to slow down.
HARD WORK: Drew Bell resigned from his position on the parish cou
ncil. He said: "It has taken me a long time to think about it but I offer my resignation through business and personal reasons."
Chairman, Coun Derek Baugh said: "I would like to thank you very much for the hard work and efforts you have on in over the years."
NEW MEMBER: John Richardson was co-opted into the council.
LIGHTS OUT: Problems on Chesterwell are to be sorted by Northumberland County Council.
Lisa Hamlin, parish council clerk, contacted the county council, which has a bond for the road, and will be sorting out funding to get lights working.
However, the council does not have a bond for Percy Drive and lighting problems on the road need to be rectified by the developer.
The parish has asked the clerk to contact residents to ask who has been maintaining the road.
UNSEATED: A bench at the crossroads is to be taken away and replaced.
CHIPPING IN: Councillors agreed to fund a part share in the clerk's computer, which she uses in her duties with Felton, Acklington and Thirston parish councils.
