SPONSORS are needed to hit the right note with Rothbury Traditional Music Festival.
Last year the event celebrated its 30th anniversary and, thanks to two one-off sponsors, the event was a huge success.

However, the committee is now seeking more sponsorship to continue the long running of the event.

Committee member Val Miller said: "To enable the committee to organise another weekend with the unique atmosphere that makes Rothbury festival so special for so many people, we are now seeking more sponsors.

"We are of course extremely grateful for the sponsorship which is given to us year after year by Alnwick District Council, Rothbury Parish Council, Hexham and Northern Marts, Northumberland National Park Authority and the Northumberland Gazette. Without their support, the festival would not take place."

This year's event will be held from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13.

Anyone interested in sponsoring it can contact Kevin Roberts on 01669 620199.
