Sex assault charge

A HOTEL owner pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a 15-year-old, Alnwick Magistrates Court heard.
Motin Rahman, 35, who owns the Schooner Hotel in Alnmouth, is alleged to have indecently touched the teenager by putting his hand down her top while in his car between Saturday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 25, this year.

Rahman will stand trial at Alnwick Magistrates Court for the alleged offence next year.

He is due to re-appear on Wednesday, January 7, for a case management hearing.
