A REPORT has been received about respite care facilities at Rothbury Community Hospital.
Coun Tony Sandford told Rothbury Parish Council that when the new hospital was built in the village respite care was prohibited.

But he was told at an NHS governors' meeting that the policy is to change which means that the facilities for respite care will be available when there are empty beds in the hospital.

Coun Sandford is to look further into the matter.
