POLICE are appealing for information after money stolen from parking machines in Seahouses was not recovered.
Two Romanian men were remanded in custody at Alnwick Magistrates Court yesterday after pleading not guilty to stealing a substantial amount of money from two car park ticket machines in the village.

Money taken from the meters – one owned by Northumberland County Council and the other at the Harbour car park – has not yet been found.

Detective Constable Kyle Currie said: "We have got a strong suspicion that the cash has been hidden somewhere."

Anyone with information can contact police on 03456 043043.
