A NEW fitness suite is to open in Rothbury at the beginning of next month.

The Healthy Living Centre at the pool at Dr Thomlinson's Middle School will open on Monday, September 8, the start of the new school term.
The new fitness suite will provide facilities for all ages and abilities. Children at the school will be able to use the gym to raise awareness of health and fitness issues.
A £255,000 grant from Alnwick District Council funded the extension.
The new fitness centre will be called the Coquetdale Swimming and Fitness Centre.
