SHOULD your Gazette go compact?
Join the debate!
After a survey of Gazette readers and advertisers found an overwhelming majority would like to see a compact version of your favourite weekly newspaper, we have produced a dummy of the smaller paper, pictured above.
It is based on the February 14 edition of the paper with all stories and adverts copied across from the broadsheet.
It may be half the size but it has double the number of pages.
We will now be asking readers what they think of the proposed compact edition at venues throughout north Northumberland (to be announced).
If you have any opinions, contact the Gazette editor Paul Larkin on 01665 602234, or email paul.larkin@northeast-press.co.uk
You can pick up a copy of the compact edition at the Gazette offices in Bondgate Without, Alnwick.
