Family pay tribute to tragic Peter

THE devastated family of teenage car crash victim Peter Pringle have spoken of their grief.
The 17-year-old, of Sycamore Avenue, Alnwick, was killed yesterday (Friday, July 3) after he lost control of his red Vauxhall Corsa and collided with a tree, off the A697, on the Lemmington Bank road between the Bridge of Aln pub and Battle Bridge.

His aunt, Angela Hoskins, said: "I just can't believe this has happened.

"He was a lovely lad, a lovable rogue."

His grandmother, Anne Dodds, said: "He was a lovable lad. He was absolutely gorgeous.

"You couldn't get annoyed with him for long."

His grandad, Bobby Dodds, described Peter as "a joy" who liked a laugh.

Amongst the sea of floral tributes at the crash site, his mother left the message: "WHY? Peter darling, we're gana miss you so, so much. You will always be with us, in our hearts. Love ya 4eva, mam, Lee xxx"
