THE parents of an Amble man who was stabbed to death are still waiting to organise his funeral.
Lee Matthewson, 21, died from a single stab wound to hisheart in Bolam Drive, Ashington, in the early hours of Monday, June 21.

Three teenagers, two aged 19 and one aged 18, were arrested in connection with the stabbing and released on bail until September 29.

But Mr Matthewson's family is still waiting to find out when his body will be released so they can make funeral arrangements.

A post-mortem was carried out the day he died but another may be requested.

Ian Matthewson, Lee's father said: "There is nothing we can do it is just one of those things we have to grin and bear it.

"It is very hard especially when nothing has come forward.

"We just want to get the funeral organised and get that over with and let other things develop but when that will be we don't know."
