A SEASIDE town could be left without any seasonal sparkle, unless more volunteers come forward to help organise the annual Christmas lights display.
Amble has laid on an impressive array of illuminations for years, but the committee is now running low on support.

It currently only has three members, all aged over 70, and desperately needs young blood to help keep the tradition alive.

A spokesman said: "Clearly we cannot continue indefinitely in this way and nor do we intend to."

Anyone wishing to volunteer and keep Amble glowing this Christmas can contact 01665 711453.
