Burst main causes water problems

RESIDENTS in Alnwick and the surrounding areas are being urged to boil their because of a burst water mains.
The 12-inch main at Hulne Park is currently being worked on by Northumbrian Water but residents are being told to boil water and notices are being issued to customers as a precautionary measure.

People in Adderstone, Bamburgh, Beadnell, Beanley, Belford, Broome Park, Chathill, Edlingham, Elford, Ellingham, Elwick, Eglingham, Glanton, Glororum, Lucker, Newham, Newstead, North Charlton, North Sunderland, Powburn, Preston, Ross, Seahouses, South Charlton, Swinhoe, Warenford, Whittingham may also be affected.
