A MAN was jailed for 33 months after committing a series of burglaries across north Northumberland.
Kevin Todd, 31, of Cramlington, was responsible for burglaries at Kitswell Dean, Swarland, Cragside, the Castle Hotel, Bamburgh and the Poachers Rest in Powburn.

He was also responsible for thefts from vehicles at the Anglers Arms, Weldon Bridge and Beggars Rigg carpark in Rothbury.

Neighbourhood Inspector Sue Peart said: "We are sending out the message that travelling criminals coming into our area will be hunted down and taken out."
