BUTCHER Mark Turnbull is hoping to bring home the bacon in a national competition.
R Turnbull & Sons, Alnwick, is entering its apricot and rosemary bacon in the Bring Home The Bacon contest, part of Bacon Connoisseurs Week.
The competition will be judged on Monday, March 22 and the winners will enter the Bacon Connoisseurs Week hall of fame.
