MICROLIGHTS will be taking part in aerial games to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
Terry Maughan, of Longframlington, is hosting a fund-raising event for the charity on Sunday and, as the venue is an aircraft hangar, he is expecting as many guests to travel by air as by road.

This is the third year that Terry and business partner Eddie McCowan have organised the Hangar Bash for charity.

Microlights from across the UK will be flying into Longframlington for the event, which includes aerial games with competing aircraft, live music and a charity auction.

Tickets for the day cost £12, £6 for children, including the option to camp overnight.

It starts at 4pm. To book and for more information ring 01665 570502.

Terry and Eddie have already raised £350 from a fun casino night, which has been matched by Fram Park Log Cabins in Longframlington, making a total of £700 to kick start the Hangar Bash fund-raising.
