Garden fete was blooming great

The sun made one of its rare appearances and shone all day at St Mary's Church, Lesbury, annual garden fete, allowing everyone to browse the stalls and enjoy afternoon tea while listening to music from Alnwick Playhouse Band.

For the second year, Lesbury Art Group held an exhibition at the Village Hall.

It was judged a great success and just under £100 was raised.
