The curtain comes up on theatre company’s latest Northumberland tour

Northumberland Theatre Company will tour the North East and Scottish Borders with 4scene.

Northumberland Theatre Company begins the tour of its new production tomorrow.

The Alnwick-based group will be taking 4Scene around the North East and Borders.

The production features a quartet of new plays written by playwrights from both regions. Themed with passion, politics, power and pleasure, these four short, very different, enthralling new plays are sure to serve up a memorable evening of theatre, performed by just six actors. Comic, heart-warming, passionate and full of energy, 4Scene’s four half-hour plays will explore life in all its guises – be prepared for a roller-coaster ride of emotions and plenty of laughter.

The tour begins at Alnwick Playhouse, with a show tomorrow and Saturday. Tickets are £8.50, £6.50 child/student. Call 01665 510785.

The next showing in north Northumberland is on March 8 at Bamburgh Pavilion. Tickets are £7.50. Call 01668 214634.

Morpeth Town Hall hosts the show on March 15. Tickets are £8. Call 01670 503866.

The curtain comes down on the tour at Alnmouth’s Hindmarsh Hall on March 23. Tickets are £8. Call 01665 830894.
