Alnwick Playhouse’s autumn programme also includes shows and performances from those closer to home.
On September 29, it will host the Northumbria Sinfonietta.
Having raised nearly £1,500 for the Playhouse at the spring concert, the orchestra returns with soloist Tristan Gurney, pictured left.
Northumberland Theatre Company’s autumn tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream comes to a close on October 26 and 27 at the Playhouse.
The Duchess’s Community High School’s senior drama group will take to the stage from November 7 to November 9 with the play The Crucible.
The Alnwick Playhouse Youth Theatre perform a series of shows, with musical Just So, which is based on Rudyard Kipling’s original tales, taking place on November 14 and 15.
The group will also bring the Wild West-themed show Big Trouble at Little Rock to the stage on November 22 and 24, followed by 1912 – The Untold Story on December 5 and 6.
Alnwick District Floral Club presents its popular festive floral art demonstration on November 27, while The Reg Vardy Brass Band and Alnwick Choral Society combine forces once again to present a Christmas concert on December 14 and 15.
Alnwick Theatre Club perform the panto Aladdin on January 18 and 19, as well as January 22 to 26.
