I'M sure many people, like me must wonder why, now we have a swimming pool, sports centre and shopping area at Willowburn, we can't also have a pedestrian pavement to it on that side of South Road.
There would seem to be space for one on the grass verge in front of Willis's garage.

It is very dangerous having to cross South Road – on the grass it is either slippery or muddy.

It isn't a safe surface for the elderly or infirm to walk on.

I am sure the fact that there is not an adequate pedestrian path must deter people from using these new splendid facilities.
